Actor, activist & community member Jussie Smollett was the subject of a calculated attack by two domestic terrorists of the MAGA orientation. It has yet to be confirmed the assailants were a member of the far-right hate group the Proud Boys, we are waiting to hear from authorities for confirmation.

Jussie Smollett was subjected to beating, had a noose tied around his neck and was doused in bleach before being hospitalized in Chicago. The domestic terrorist chastized him with racial slurs and homophobic epithets that need not be repeated.

The saying, "an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us" comes to mind. That is why we, organizers of the many resistance groups, here in Los Angeles, are banding together to organize a response to this attack.

Join us on Saturday, February 2nd from 6-8pm in the heart of West Hollywood at the rainbow crosswalk to show solidarity for Jussie Smollett. 807 N San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 We will be joined by community leaders to reject hate and focus our anger into purpose. We call upon all members of the community from every race, age, background, creed & sex to SHOW UP and send a message that we will not be shaken.

These are important times we are living in and as we boldly fight for our future free of organized hate it's important to come together and resist.
