Chelsea Rendon, star of the critically acclaimed Vida on Starz, joins Let's Go There to discuss how the drama is paving the way for Latin and queer representation. The series follows the story of two Mexican-American sisters who move back to their childhood home in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles after the death of their mother. Growing up on the Eastside of LA, Rendon definitely identifies with her character, Mari, a "woke" activist from there dealing with growing gentrification and social injustices. Rendon discusses the importance of the show in its second season as well as her future projects including the immigration drama The Infiltrators and The Tax Collector with Shia LaBeouf. You can catch the stars of VIDA at San Francisco Pride as the Grand Marshals and the show on the Starz APP.
